Picture of 2021 Clash of the Carolinas event
The Clash of the Carolinas is the nation's only interstate prep soccer all-star event. The 2025 event will be held at the CSA OrthoCarolina Sportsplex, home of Charlotte Soccer Academy, in Pineville, N.C., for the second consecutive year.
The 2017-23 "Clash" matches were played at WakeMed Soccer Park's Koka Booth Stadium in Cary, N.C. WakeMed Soccer Park is home to the USL League One North Carolina FC and the NWSL NC Courage. The 2016 event was staged at Raleigh's Cardinal Gibbons High School, so the "Triangle" was the site of seven consecutive Clash contests. The 2020 event was canceled due to the Coronavirus.
The 2007-2015 matches were played at MUSC Health (Blackbaud) Stadium, the former home of the Charleston Battery of the USL Championship, on Daniel Island, S.C.
